When choosing your desired stone, please consider the roughness of the stone. The larger the number, the softer the stone. Note that the stone can only be bought in the following combinations:

• Black (140) & Blue (400) – very suitable for coarse sharpening when the skates are extreme bid
• Blue (400) & Red (600) – same idea as ordinary sharpening stones like Zandstra Foss. Here you have the blue to roughly grind and the red side to fine grind.
• Red (600) & Gold (1200) – very suitable for fine sharpening (red) and polishing of your skates (gold).
• Black (140) & Gold (1200) – very suitable for coarse sharpening (black) and then polishing (gold)

For the optimal effect, we recommend the combination of Black and Blue with which you first roughly sharpen and afterwards the Red & Gold stone for fine sharpeing and polishing.

For the general competition drivers we recommend the combination of Blue & Red. But you still need a ceramic polishing stone to polish afterwards.
